I am selling my beloved 2008 Toyota Solara convertible. It’s a great car that has been well maintained – maintenance records on Carfax. It has a 3.3L V6 engine, heated leather seats, front wheel drive, traction control, ABS brake system, tire pressure monitoring system, 5 disc CD player and 2” receiver hitch for bike rack. I have not yet had it detailed and am asking $5,500 cash as is for the next 2 weeks. After detailing the asking price increases to $5,900. Registration was paid in February for 2 years. Absolutely beautiful 2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder. It runs perfectly (manual 5 speed) and is in excellent condition. Good tread on tires still. Plugs and air filter changed last fall. I bought this car 2 years ago when I was in a pinch. It runs great, but has a few issues. The power steering groans a bit but works, the rear windshield of the soft top needs to be fixed / re-adhered, the rear passenger quarter panel is dented in, and the inside smells a little musty because it got wet during recent rains. I don't have a title because it has taken me over a year to replace a lost title from the Oregon department of licensing because of some silly logistical issues. For sale is a 2006 Toyota Solara Convertible in Red (Ex.) and Grey (Int.) in good condition. It was used as a daily driver and pleasure trips once in a while and never had any major issues. It has been a great and dependable car that never broke down on the road. It's a Toyota AND a semi-luxury car still. The handling and the brakes are also very responsive and in good condition. I've always used the premium brake pad replacements and premium Oil change options when it was due time. This vehicle still has plenty of life left with good maintenance. It is an SLE edition with DVD and radio Info system, but can be upgraded to a touch screen console if desired. It also has heated front seats that works very well. Though it is in Luxury class it takes regular 87 Octane and can save you some money on gas! Despite being a convertible, it actually has a decent interior and trunk space; it's a four-seater coupe but actual size is closer to a longer sedan, definitely not as compact as your regular coupe. The only repair I did since the ownership was the Alternator Belt when it snapped shortly after purchase. It has never had issues since the replacement. The only current flaws are as below and can be fixed fairly cheaply considering it's a Toyota and share many parts with the Camry model. - There is a dent on the driver side door that's not too visible, it most likely was hit when parked and it was too late by the time I noticed. - There is a temporary screeching noise from the belt tension, which goes away shortly after ignition, it may need to be adjusted. - There is a tire pressure light ON, I've checked the tire's pressure sensors, fuse box, reader, but no luck. I have just kept an eye on it when I used to drive more often. Not a deal breaker and still passes Inspection. - There is also a rip on the driver seat, which I did not notice until I peeled my seat cover back. (The price reflects the deduction due to seat tear, I will leave the seat covers in and it's up to you to keep or remove.) - There are also hairline cracks on the front dash, please see pictures for reference. All in all, it's still a very reliable car that can be used either as a daily driver or for a pleasure trip. The Convertible top is still in good and working condition, I've never had any trouble with it; It takes about 6 to 10 seconds to open or close all the way (soft-top). I've even used it as a mini pick up with the top down when I needed to move larger items that usually won't fit in a coupe, sedan, or even SUV. The only reason I'm selling is I have gotten a new car and no longer need it. It has no issues, you can drive it home! Feel free to text me and schedule a viewing or a test drive.
