FindUsedOnline, Inc. (“we, us, our”) is providing this “Privacy Policy” because we believe in being transparent with respect to the information that we collect and use. This Privacy Policy governs our collection, use, sale and disclosure of information that is reasonably capable of being linked to an individual user (“you”), such as name, address, telephone number, and/or email address (“personal information”) collected through the FindUsedOnline.com website, and other applications owned and operated by FindUsedOnline (“Site”). - Activity information about your use, and the use by any person(s) you authorize through your account, of our site and applications, such as the content you view or post, how often you use our services, and your preferences; and
- Usage, viewing, technical, and device data when you visit our sites, use our applications on third-party sites or platforms, or open emails we send, including your browser or device type, unique device identifier, and IP address
3. How We Collect Information
3.1 Personal Information You Share With Us
3.1.1 Information Collected When Requesting to be Contacted by a Car Seller
If you request to be contacted by a particular car seller, both we and that seller, as the case may be, may collect personal information provided by you through the text and chat functionalities that we provide and on the contact forms on our site, which may include your name, email address, postal code, and telephone number, so that the seller can contact you to consider a car purchase or request that you submit a dealer review.
3.1.3 Information Collected When Registering with FindUsedOnline; Subscribing
If you register with us or subscribe to receive specific information or services on our site, in addition to the automatic information collected as described above, we will also collect registration information, such as name, email address, mail address, telephone number, username and password.
Registering with us will give you the ability to personalize your FindUsedOnline site experience. The benefits of registering will increase over time as we get to know you better and introduce new features. We encourage you to register so that you can experience everything that FindUsedOnline has to offer
If you link, connect, or login to your account with a third-party service (e.g. Facebook and Google), we receive certain information, such as your registration and profile information from that service. This information varies and is controlled by that service or as authorized by you via your privacy settings at that service.
3.1.4 Automatic Collection of Information
We gather information from your computer or handheld or mobile device when you visit our site. While you can take advantage of some of our site features without registration, we encourage you to register with us to take full advantage of our many personalization options in terms of your privacy and browsing preferences. If you don’t register, we automatically collect your IP address and information regarding your internet service provider or mobile carrier and the type of handheld or mobile device you use. We also use the following service:
- Firebase, to collect non-identifiable information to help us better understand the nature of the devices in use, country of use etc.. These data help us to make better decisions about how to improve functionality and performance.
- Google Analytics, to collect information that may be associated with other information that you have voluntarily submitted to us. Google is governed by its own privacy policy. The purposes for which we use Google Analytics on the site include:
- Processes: Intended to make the site work in the way you expect. For example, we use a cookie that tells us whether you have already signed up for an account.
- Authentication, Security, and Compliance: Intended to prevent fraud, protect your data from unauthorized parties, and comply with legal requirements. For example, we use cookies to determine if a suspicious IP address (based on geography) is logged in through your account or if the account.
- Preferences: Intended to track how you use the site and remember information about how you prefer the site to behave and look. For example, we monitor and store your browsing activity on our site to customize your experience and better understand your vehicle shopping interests.
- Notifications: Intended to allow notices of information or options that we think could improve your use of the site. For example, send out notifications on the cars and searches you have saved, in a vehicle that you are interested in or previously browsed on our site.
- Advertising: Intended to make advertising more relevant to users and more valuable to our advertisers. For example, we may use cookies to serve you interest-based ads, such as ads that are displayed to you based on your visits to other websites, or to tell us if you have recently clicked on an ad.
- Analytics: Intended to help us understand how visitors use our site. For example, we use a cookie that tells us how our search suggestions correlate to your browsing on our site.
3.2 Social Media and Google Account
You may use social networks or other online services to access our Site. When you do so, information from those services may be made available to us. By associating a google or social network account with our Site, you agree that we may access and retain that information in accordance with the policies of the social network or other online service and this Policy. For example, we may be able to access account or profile information that you have provided to Google or Facebook or information about your interactions with the social network to make information available to us.
3.3 Information Collected From Other Sources
We may acquire or obtain information from other sources as follows:
From third-party sources to update or supplement the information that you provide or that we collect automatically. This includes, for example, Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), license plate number, vehicle registration information, listing's imported data and other information. We collect and store this information from public and private databases.
We use this information to help us maintain the accuracy of the information we collect, personalize your experience with the site, target our communications and advertisements so that we can inform you of products and services or other offers that may be of interest to you, provide private purchase and sale transaction services, prevent fraud, and for internal business analysis or other business purposes.
4. How We Use Your Personal Information
We use and process your personal information for a number of business and commercial purposes. These include:
- sending you promotional marketing material about us and our services;
- customizing, analyzing, adjusting and improving the site;
- providing you with important administrative information regarding the site, such as changes to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use and other policies;
- preventing fraud and other prohibited or illegal activities;

5. When Do We Share Information
We only share information about you as described or permitted by this Policy, unless you consent to other sharing. We may share information about you in the following ways:
- Affiliates. We may share information about you, including personal information, with our corporate affiliates for specific business purposes.
- Car Sellers and Manufacturers/Requests. With your express consent, we may share your personal information with car sellers and manufacturers who use that information for purposes of marketing their own products or services to you directly. When you submit your e-mail address and/or phone number to a particular seller through the site, you agree and expressly consent to being contacted by the seller by various means, including by phone at the number provided, text message, email, automatic telephone dialing system and/or an artificial or prerecorded voice.
- Service Providers. We may provide third-party service providers access to your personal information to perform services on our behalf. We contractually require our service providers to provide protection for personal information and to limit the use of such information solely for the purpose of providing the specified services on our behalf.
- Other Providers of Products and Services. We may provide other third-party providers of products and services (for example financing providers) access to personal information that you voluntarily provide on our site so that such providers can provide products and services to you. We contractually require such providers to provide protection for personal information and to limit the use of such information for the purpose agreed to by you when submitting such personal information on our site. By submitting personal information on our site in connection with receiving products and/or services from these providers, you (i) consent to our transmission of your personal information to such providers, (ii) agree that your personal information will be subject to their privacy policies, and (iii) agree that you should contact them directly for more information about their specific privacy and opt-out policies.

We cooperate with legal authorities and may in some circumstances be required to disclose personal information in response to requests from law enforcement authorities, or in response to a subpoena or other legal process. We also share information about you if we believe we should in order to (i) prevent a violation of the law; (ii) protect or defend our interests and our legal rights or property; (iii) protect the rights, interests, safety and security of users of the site or members of the public; (iv) protect against fraud or for risk management purposes; or (v) comply with prudent legal practice as we may determine, and applicable law or legal process. We also may share your information in connection with a corporate transaction, such as a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, and in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.
6. Publicly Posted Information
Your profile on the site will be publicly viewable and identifiable via your screen name. By default, unless you hide your email address, FindUsedOnline will make your email address visible to any other members or display it in any public manner. Please think carefully before making information public as you are solely responsible for any information you make public. Once you have posted information, you may not be able to edit or delete such information.
Information that you make available to us and others via social media networks, chat rooms or similar functionality is public information that we or others may share or use in accordance with the law.
7. Your Rights and Choices
You may limit and control the information provided to us in several ways. You may not be able to use all features of our Site if you limit the information you share with us. For example, you can choose not to access our Site through your social media account. You may also be able to limit the information provided to us by third party social media providers by altering your privacy settings with those providers. You may unsubscribe from promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe link included in each such email. Your browser and your device may provide you the option to limit the use of cookies or other Metrics Tools. You should consult documentation for your browser or device for more information. Your mobile device may have settings that allow you to prevent sharing geolocation information with us. You should consult your mobile device’s settings or help documentation for more information about exercising these options.
FindUsedOnline uses Google Analytics and related products, which help FindUsedOnline better understand its audience and target communications and advertisements based on demographic or interest-based information. Google is subject to its own privacy policy. To learn more about Google’s data collection and security practices, we encourage you to review its privacy policy.
Please note that you may still receive advertising even after opting out, but that advertising may not be tailored to you or your interests.
8. Storing and Retaining Your Personal Information
Your personal information is stored on servers in the U.S. Also, some of our service providers may store information in servers hosted in countries different from where you reside. As such, your personal information may be subject to the laws of other countries, where the data protection and other laws may not be as comprehensive as your country of residence.
Any personal information that we collect is kept as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or our recordkeeping policies and practices. When we no longer have reason to retain your personal information and as required by our retention policies, it will be destroyed or de-identified in a manner designed to preserve its private and confidential nature, however we may retain inactive archival copies.
9. How Can I Access and Update My Information?
If you are a registered user on FindUsedOnline.com, you may access, update and change certain information we have collected about you by accessing the “My Account” tab after signing into your account on www.FindUsedOnline.com.
10. Security
We have implemented administrative, technical, personnel, and physical security measures designed to help protect the personal information stored in our systems against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification. We also employ processes (such as password hashing, login auditing, and idle session termination, as appropriate) to help protect against unauthorized access to your personal information. Technical measures that we have implemented also include use of firewall protection and, in appropriate instances, encryption technology. Although we take reasonable precautions to assess the reliability of such technology, we rely on the statements of the vendors of those products and services as part of its security evaluation. While we have endeavored to create a secure and reliable site for users, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to/from the site, and the security of your personal information, cannot be guaranteed. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal information when you are on the Internet.
11. How We Address California Privacy Rights
This part of our Policy applies to consumers who reside in the State of California.

The information we collect includes the following:

- The following categories of Personal Information are described in California Civil Code § 1798.80(e): (i) the Personal Information listed in the preceding bullet point as “identifiers,” (ii) Vehicle Identification Numbers (when linked to identified persons), vehicle information such as model and year, vehicle registration information, and license plate numbers, (iii) information you provide or that we record in connection with customer support calls or complaints, (iv) demographic information such as age range and gender, (v) select financial information (e.g., social security number) (vi) the other information that identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of being associated with, a particular individual that we describe in “What Information Do We Collect?”.
- Characteristics of protected classifications under California or federal law, such as military service, sex or age range.
- Any data from your usage of services in connection with FindUsedOnline Services.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, usage of, and information regarding your interaction with our Site.
- Geolocation data. When you use our Site, it may access, collect, monitor, and/or remotely store session and geolocation information from your device to connect you with dealers in your area. Geolocation information includes data such as your device’s physical location and may include GPS-based, WiFi-based or cell-based location information.
- If a user contacts us by calling, the call may be recorded for quality and training and purposes.
- Inferences drawn from (1) the information we collect when you utilize our Site, and (2) information about FindUsedOnline user preferences and behavior, which we use for product and service enhancement and optimization purposes.

11.2 Your California Privacy Rights
If you are a California consumer, you have the following rights. We will honor requests received to the extent required by applicable law and within the time provided by law.
(a) Right to Access and Information regarding Personal Information.
right to request that we disclose to you the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you. Specifically, you have the right to request that we disclose the following to you, in each case in the twelve-month period preceding your request:
- the categories of Personal Information we have collected about you;
- the categories of sources from which the Personal Information is collected;
- our business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling Personal Information;
- the categories of third parties with whom we share Personal Information;
- the specific pieces of information we have collected about you;
- the categories of Personal Information about you that we disclosed for a business purpose.
We will deliver Personal Information that we are required by law to disclose to you in the manner required by law within 45 days after receipt of a verifiable request, unless we notify you that we require additional time to respond, in which case we will respond within such additional period of time required by law. We may deliver the Personal Information to you through your account, if you maintain an account with FindUsedOnline, or, if not, electronically. If electronically, then we will deliver the information in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, in a readily usable format that allows you to transmit the information from one entity to another without hindrance.
(b) Right to Deletion of Personal Information.
You have the right to request that we delete Personal Information about you that we have collected from you.
(c) Right to Opt Out.
You have the right to opt out of the disclosure of Personal Information about you to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. To opt-out, please send a mail with the subject “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” to support@findusedonline.com
(d) Right to Non-Discrimination.
We may not discriminate against you because of your exercise of any of the foregoing rights, or any other rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including by:
- denying you goods or services;
- charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits or imposing penalties;
- providing you a different level or quality of goods or services; or
- suggesting that you will receive a different price or rate for goods or services or a different level or quality of goods or services
We may, however, charge different prices or rates, or provide a different level or quality of goods or services, if that difference is reasonably related to the value provided to FindUsedOnline by your Personal Information.
You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. Please note that we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to information or acting on your request to exercise your rights, as required or permitted by law. We may limit our response to your exercise of the above rights as permitted by law.
11.3. Data Sharing for Direct Marketing Purposes
Residents of the State of California may request a list of all third parties to which we have disclosed certain personal information (as defined by California law) during the preceding year for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. 12. Do Not Track Notice
At this time, there is no worldwide uniform or consistent industry standard or definition for responding to, processing, or communicating Do Not Track signals. Thus, like many other websites and online services, our Site is currently unable to respond to Do Not Track Signals
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. When we post modifications to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this web page. The modified Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon posting on the site. Your continued use of the site after the posting of the modified Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement to abide and be bound by it.
