Neither have given any issue, but the driver's side was replaced at some point with an aftermarket axle that has a larger-than-normal CV boot; the larger boot makes contact with the upper control arm, so slight wear on the boot is present (and at times a slight squeak can be noticed). Could be remedied by raising the rear suspension slightly or replacing the axle. - The ABS light occasionally comes on. I had RRT Racing service and replace all of the ABS components a few months ago; they have confirmed that everything is operational, but they suspect the aftermarket axle is the culprit. - The chassis, subframe, and suspension mounts are rust free; however, there was previously rust bubbles on both rear quarter panels. This was addressed under prior ownership by sanding the rust bubbles and touching up with paint (red does not fully match). I confirmed with previous owner that no metal was welded (note screenshot from him in Google Drive folder) Note: This is a 28 year old track car, so the paint/body definitely show it. While it looks great from ~25 feet, up close you can see dings (some on hood and roof - can be PDRed and videos on Drive show condition), rock chips, and a few spots of delaminated clear coat (mostly mirrors and back bumper). Also, as a track-prepped car with a stripped interior, it is very firm, loud, and harsh. Given its age, the car is able to be registered and driven on the street, but this car is truly meant to be primarily used as a track car, so please keep that in mind. No misfires , no fluid leaks , no overheating. Engine pulls strong , feels very lively and has plenty of torque. Manual trans goes through all the gears nicely. The clutch feels good, grabs nicely, the lightweight flywheel really makes a big difference in responsiveness. The suspension is very tight, car handles like it’s on rails. It has 50/50 weight distribution and you can feel just how well tuned the chassis is. The Car is turn key and ready to enjoy . The Cosmos Schwarz paint is still in good shape, some clear coat fade on door Tops. There are Some minor parking lot dings, small scratches and rock chips but nothing unsightly .Hood is wrapped. I have kept the car cleaned and waxed regularly. The car was involved in a minor fender bender during its time with its previous owner, the only parts changed were the nose cone and hood due to the age of the vehicle the insurance company gave it a rebuilt title. all of its vin tags are present with original panels still intact. The interior is in good shape, front seats from a different bmw but look good. Rear seat in good shape. Door panels and dash are still good .Power windows work with exception of drivers window .
