favorite1969 Plymouth Road Runner for sale in AZ

1969 Plymouth Road Runner

$68,995

Mesa | Date: Tue Feb 27 2024

A 1969 Plymouth Road Runner with a powerful 383 V8 under the hood and four-on-the-floor is already quite awesome. And as you look over the whole package, you'll see investment to make this muscle Mopar a sharp-looking total package. So you just know this loves to get attention for much more than just the BEEP! BEEP! horn. This was arguably the best year for the Road Runner. It wanted to own every inch of the blacktop with a wide blocky stance, imposing chrome bumpers, and rear fenders that extend past the trunk. The factory-correct Jamaica Blue is a later respray that has a quality gloss. So it helps show off the delicate details within the brawny body. This includes the eyebrow lines on the fenders, the unique rear window, and the sculpted dip in the trunk. So while this is a true muscle car brute, we also love it for being a thoughtfully designed Mopar. And this one really has everything you love on a Road Runner, like the vented hood, wide dual exhaust tips, and fun carton badging. We especially like the Mopar road wheels. They are a classic-style option but now in a larger 15-inch size. So you can now fit more modern tires, while also disguising them as classic redline units. There has been a solid investment inside to keep this white interior looking terrific. The trim tag tells us the color is factory-correct, and so it makes the car's Jamaica Blue paint name also feel like its overall attitude. After all, the beautiful blue reminds us of a tropical ocean, and the white upholstery is the crest of the waves. So you'll love keeping the windows down on this hardtop just so the pillarless style can show off the full island style vibe inside and out. Not only is this an attractive color combo, but they also took the time to keep this feeling absolutely vintage. We love the details, like the thin headrests, smooth wood-like trim on the center console, and working AM radio with 8-track. And the front bucket seats are a good reminder that the driver is the most important in this Plymouth. You the classic BEEP! BEEP! steering wheel, full factory gauges with rarely-seen tach, and an added water temp readout. And we bet you're already wondering what that shifter would look like with a pistol grip on top. From the moment you lift the hood, you know exactly why this one gets your heart racing. The 383 cubic-inch V8 is a replacement block, but it carries the correct style. So we bet you'll love everything from the classic battery cover to the large Coyote Duster air grabber. And because you can barely see beneath Wile E. they took the opportunity to upgrade the four-barrel carburetor to a later Edelbrock unit. It's a strong V8 that makes a terrific tune out of the dual exhaust. You have complete control over the big V8's power and its rumbling soundtrack thanks to the numbers-matching four-speed manual transmission. This Road Runner keeps the tradition of muscle cars that want you to have an unfiltered feel of the road, but there are the right driver's features, like power brakes and front discs. The sale comes complete with nice paperwork like the factory order sheet, title documentation, and build receipts. This is a powerful, distinct, and truly fun Road Runner. So don't miss this Mopar hardtop. Call today!!!

favorite1962 Plymouth Fury for sale in TX

1962 Plymouth Fury Hemi Tribute

$46,995

Fort Worth | Date: Tue Feb 27 2024

Few cars evoke 'power' better than '60s-era Mopars. Taking a rare B-body hardtop like this dazzling 1962 Plymouth Sport Fury and turning it into a redlight-to-redlight scream-machine took some cojones, even by Mopar standards, but the builders absolutely pulled it off with this HEMI Tribute. Dropping a 426 HEMI V8 under the hood certainly helped, as did the red-hot Cherry Red paint and bucket-seat interior, resulting in a killer muscle car with off-the-charts curb appeal. Satellite-era Mopars were already some of the coolest cars ever made, and when it's armed to the teeth like this Sport Fury, it looks ready to blast off into space. Colors like this particular shade of Code PP Cherry Red were popular in the '60s, and the big and mid-sized cars like this Sport Fury B-Body seems to wear it best. Of course, that kicked-up rake makes it look far more aggressive than when it was just Grandpa's daily driver, but even though it's now a muscle car, this one has a very polished and grown-up look. The paint is in very good shape, above average and showing a deep shine, so if you're used to seeing dusty-looking vintage enamel on these cars, this one will come as a very pleasant surprise. It's not perfect, a few signs of age and other imperfections are present upon close examination, but when this Mopar is at full throttle zipping by, who's going to notice? The Sport Fury trim package was reintroduced by Chrysler to help with sales, but regardless of the pecking order Plymouth was never cheap on style and flair and after the '61 models were widely known in the industry to have been 'beaten with the ugly stick', the redesigned '62 was a breath of fresh air. With that being said, even this final generation still takes some very bold risks in the design area that probably aren't for everyone, but no one will ever argue that the Sporty Fury was conservative or run-of-the-mill. Between the concaved grille and quad headlights up front, the sharp creases on the hood, fenders, and profile, and that wide, ornate rear end with six individual taillights, the 1962 Sporty Fury has a lot of character to take in. Your eyes bounce from one angle to the next, as they scan from smooth curves to sharp contrasts, and that's before you even notice that this 2-door was built to get into street fights. Tidy panel gaps, nice detailing around the glass and doors, and, of course, the wicked stance all give this car a dramatic look that previews the performance, and the red 'steelies' adorned with 'Baby Moons' wrapped in those meaty radials are the perfect endcaps. The chrome and stainless trim is quite nice as well, and that's good because it plays a pivotal role in making this car look so unique, adding just the right amount of bling to the bright red finish. The two-tone, black-and-red vinyl interior is all business, and that business is all about keeping the passengers comfortable while traveling at darn near the speed of light. With buckets and a center console up front, you know that the original buyer's priority was style, and Plymouth certainly didn't take a day off when it came time to design this cabin. The dash is wonderfully complex, the door panels are unique, and even the seat covers are far from plain, with red pleated inserts tying everything in together quite nicely. The original dash and quirky steering wheel show very slight age (the worst of which are minor cracks on the rim of the steering wheel, although there are only a couple), and the uniquely-designed factory gauge bezel boasts original gauges and host of push-button switches that control the automatic transmission and HVAC system how cool is that? Beyond minor signs of use and slight patina on the original equipment, there's not much to complain about the condition of this tidy cabin, where even high traffic areas on the upholstery and black carpets look nice. A trio of auxiliary gauges and a vintage Dixco tachometer were added to account for the upgraded HEMI, and although the options list is fairly short, you do get seatbelts up front, an original AM radio (inoperable), and center console. There's plenty of room for three in the back seat, although it looks like it's seldom been used since the car was restored, and the surprisingly large trunk was finished with matching black carpets and houses a relocated battery and original bias-ply spare and jack set. Powering this fairly light, mid-sized 2-door is a thundering 426 HEMI V8 engine that swapped in to pump up the horsepower and torque numbers into the stratosphere, thusly making this Sports Fury an incredibly fast early muscle car. It starts easily and idles with a healthy lope that suggests unbridled horsepower, not luxury, and it's very cleanly detailed under the hood. There's Hemi Orange paint on the block itself, which is topped by a set of black valve covers and a chrome open-element air cleaner complete with a 426 HEMI decal that let everyone know what it is. Dual Edelbrock 1406 4-barrel carburetors perched atop an aluminum intake feed the HEMI, and a set of long-tube headers dump into a custom X-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust system that helps the big block breathe easy. And yeah, it's very loud. The transmission is a virtually bulletproof A727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic feeding a stock rear end, so the driveline is ready to play while the suspension features a torsion bar, newer bushings, heavy-duty leaf springs, and upgraded spring-assisted shocks out back. Power steering and a dual master cylinder with front disc brakes were added to improve the driving experience, and the rolling stock sits atop staggered 225/60/15 front and 275/60/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials. A neatly restored and HEMI-upgraded Mopar with loads of style and ready to go. Call today!

favorite1972 Plymouth Road Runner for sale in AZ

1972 Plymouth Road Runner

$53,995

Mesa | Date: Tue Feb 27 2024

Fans and aficionados of vintage Plymouths: prepare to be impressed. This 1972 Plymouth Road Runner is a highly original, impeccably preserved example of one of Mopar's best. With a numbers-matching E68 400 V8 4-barrel engine, A727 Torqueflight transmission, and stock suspension, it's one of the few times you'll ever see an untouched drivetrain in a Road Runner the legendary blue collar muscle car that's rarely seen in survivor condition. Unbelievably, that shiny Meadow Green paint and sporty Green interior are believed to be original too, and the mileage on the clock 87,368 is likely the actual odometer reading. And with its factory buildsheet, data plate still in place, and even an original 'Beep, Beep!" promotional license plate, it's about as close to a time capsule as you'll ever find in a Road Runner. That color that's caught your eye is Code GJ3 Meadow Green a slightly more grown-up version of Sublime Green that fits this Road Runner perfectly. It's reported to be the car's original, factory application, and although that might seem far-fetched for a 50-year-old vehicle that looks this bright and shiny, we haven't found evidence to the contrary. No obvious tape lines, signs of prep-work, or any indication of modern materials are anywhere to be seen, and we've featured plenty of survivor-grade, hermetically sealed classics in our experience to know an original paintjob when we see one. And with 87,368 believed miles, the claim becomes even more probable, as a car that was so rarely driven and cared for like a family member would indeed present this way. At the very least, it's an incredibly old respray (although again, in our opinion the claims of original paint are likely true) that's held up incredibly well through the years, and this Mopar still looks amazing today. It hasn't been practically immune to Father Time and picked up only minor signs of wear and defects from the road, but still shows like a dialed-in, driver-grade muscle car with a deep shine, nice luster, and overall uniformity that only stock paint jobs can boast. Contrasting black stripes on the hood and front fenders add a sporty touch, as do the hood pins/lanyards, front fog lights, and dual exhaust tips out back, while the vinyl top matches the decal package and breaks up that green paint just enough. In fact, that vinyl top is further evidence of this Plymouth's originality with a gator-skin texture and proper heat-sealing techniques that hold it in place and there's even the 'correct' amount factory overspray at the bottom of the A-pillar where the vinyl meets the sheetmetal. We love the fuselage styling of the '72 model that gave the Road Runner a big leg-up on the competition, and the swoopy styling of this super-clean example definitely looks the part of a Mopar muscle car. The wrap-around chrome bumpers that circle the front end and taillights were a defining feature, as is the blacked-out mesh front grille, and those OEM Road Runner badges/decals are in remarkable shape, too. Survivor-grade originality continues inside, where the pleated vinyl seating on the Road Runners of yesteryear is a defining styling cue that's still works great today. Other than a Bluetooth stereo adapter added to the bottom of the dash, this baby is a time capsule inside, with few signs of use and wear once again attesting to this car's originality and low-mileage. High-backed bucket seats straddle a woodgrain-adorned center console, the matching rear bench looks virtually untouched, while the flanking door panels, plush carpets, taut headliner, and unblemished dash are all in excellent condition showing off that pure 1970s shade of green. A Tuff Wheel frames the original gauges ahead of it that are inside a woodgrain bezel, the original Chrysler Solid State stereo is still in place, and the Slap Stik shifter inside the console has always been a fan favorite. Even the trunk is 100% stock, featuring an original mat and spare tire/jack set. The engine bay features original details that you simply don't see these days, even in the most heralded of vintage cars. Sure, there are a couple upgrades and signs of maintenance, but the patina and light wear is commensurate to the car's mileage claims. The numbers-matching 400/255HP V8 is nestled neatly in between the Meadow Green inner fenders, there's original Blue engine enamel still on the block and valve covers, while the HEMI Orange dual-snorkeled air cleaner houses original 400-Four Barrel decals that show very little wear. With so few miles, the big block runs great, with plenty of horsepower on tap and a healthy torque curve that helps it get-up-and-go in a flash. An original 4-barrel carb sits on top, aided by the cold, dense air it's fed through the big air cleaner, while an aluminum radiator, modern battery, and fresh plug wires are the only notable deviations from stock under the hood. The powerplant sounds great thanks to an upgraded H-pipe dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers and pairs with an original 3-speed automatic A727 Torqueflite transmission that shifts with slip-free precision. Factory power steering, power front disc brakes, and an original suspension mean this Road Runner is a blast to drive, and the undercarriage is incredibly solid and clean, showing only very minor surface scale that's expected after all these years. The rolling stock is the car's most obvious upgrade, although the look of those flashy chrome rims wrapped in staggered 255/50/17 front and 295/45/18 Nittos is simply dynamite. Documented with its factory buildsheet and featuring an unparalleled level of originality, this Road Runner is an incredible find. If you're looking for an upper-echelon, original Mopar, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything better. Call today!

favorite1974 Plymouth Duster for sale in TX

1974 Plymouth Duster Restomod

$34,995

Fort Worth | Date: Tue Feb 27 2024

The Plymouth Duster has always been about affordable, lightweight fun. Well, things just got serious with this 1974 Duster Restomod coupe, which gets all the traditional Duster stuff right (light weight, conservative styling, cool look) and adds a 21st century twist in the form of a fuel-injected 5.7 liter Hemi and a modern automatic transmission, 4-wheel disc brakes, and an A/C interior, creating one heck of a cool Mopar resto-mod. There's just no way you could build this car yourself for the asking price, and if this car is still in the showroom two weeks from now, I'll be shocked. The blue metallic paint is a close approximation of B5 Lucerne Blue, which was a very popular color for Mopars in the '70s, and it looks awesome stretched over this semi-fastback A-Body. Finished to a strong driver-grade, the paint is properly shiny and very handsome with only minor imperfections to speak of, about what you'd expect on a vintage muscle car built to drive. It's the perfect blend of pretty and blue-collar, a combination that's worked on the Valiant/Duster cars for years. White Duster 'billboard' decals slash down the profiles to break up the blue paint and add a performance look, matching the new white vinyl top perfectly. Add in the color-matched bumpers and the aggressive rake with the big slicks out back, and you get a compact package that looks like fun and wants to run. Again, it's not perfect, but rather pure, great-looking driver-grade, and there's no shame in that, especially since it will be even more adept at luring in unsuspecting drivers on the street who figure it's just another garden-variety small block Duster. The decals are recent, so they're crisp and nicely rendered and the sheetmetal and panel gaps are quite good throughout, so it's obviously been a clean car all its life. Add in a few discreet HEMI emblems on the front fenders, however, and this car is going to generate a few double-takes. The interior got a nice makeover, too, but doesn't lose any of its honesty and working-class roots. White bucket seats straddle a factory center console and set the sporty theme, and the white vinyl upholstery is in good order with no splits or tears. Matching white door panels are in good order as well, recent black carpets look good and offer protective carpeted mats, and the fat Grant steering wheel feels great during white-knuckled driving. The original black dashboard is intact but the gauges are now modern black-faced units that look awesome inside a bright bezel, and a big Pioneer multi-media head unit was installed in the center of the dash to handle the entertainment, and it's matched with a Kicker stereo system with upgraded speakers in the cab and a big amp in the trunk. Inside the woodgrain adorned center console, a tall Lokar shifter allows do-it-yourself shifting of the modern-tech automatic gearbox, and the under-dash A/C system is all there but needs a little service to blow cold once again. There's also a reasonably spacious back seat and a giant trunk that was neatly finished with gray carpeting throughout. Big bucks were spent under the hood, where room was made for a thumping 5.7 liter HEMI V8 that's neatly fitted inside the painted and detailed engine bay. The fuel-injected unit provides the instant starting, easy idling, and good fuel economy that we've come to expect from our modern daily drivers, and it pulls the rather lightweight Duster with relative ease. It's a big performance boost over the original wheezing 318 and service access remains very good, with modern accessories and components that can be worked on at just about any Chrysler/Dodge dealer. A giant aluminum radiator and open-element air cleaner keep things cool, all the wiring and plumbing is very clean and organized, and a modern alternator and belt system cranks this powerful beast right up every time. Underneath you get a 4-speed automatic transmission (although the builder reports that the 4th gear was purposely not hooked up), so this is a very easy cruiser and that injected HEMI sounds awesome exhaling through a custom Magnaflow X-pipe dual exhaust system with turndowns just underneath the rear bumper. 4-wheel disc brakes improve stopping power tremendously, tubular A-arms, coilovers, a big sway bar, and a power rack-and-pinion steering system were all added up front and steady the handles, and that killer stance is set with 165/80/15 front Nexens and 275/60/15 rear Mickey Thompsons wrapped around a slick set of Jegs alloys. A very slick resto-mod that's read for the road today, this Duster already has all the hard work finished. All it needs now is a willing dance partner. Call today!

Frequently Asked Questions

Generally, a used car with over 100,000 miles is considered high mileage. However, many vehicles can still perform well beyond this threshold if they have been properly maintained.
You can get comprehensive vehicle history reports, including maintenance records, damage records, and accident history, to help you make an informed decision.
No, there are no fees associated with listing your car on Find Used Online. You can create a listing for free, allowing you to reach potential buyers without any upfront costs.
To list your car on Find Used Online, follow these simple steps:
  1. Sign up for free to get an account.
  2. Click Post Ad and follow the prompts to list your car, providing your contact details and location.
  3. Use your VIN, License Plate Number, or the vehicle Year, Make, and Model information to auto-fill details.
  4. If you have listings on sites like KSL or Craigslist, you can import details directly using the listing URL.
  5. Add high-quality images of your car to showcase its condition.
  6. Once your listing is complete, it will be published for buyers to view.
To buy a car, start by determining your budget and getting pre-approved for financing. Research the types of vehicles that fit your needs and budget, and check their market values using our car valuation tool. Once you have a shortlist, visit dealerships to test drive the cars. Negotiate the price based on your research, and be prepared to walk away if the deal does not meet your expectations.
Choosing the right car depends on your personal needs, budget, and preferences. Consider factors like fuel efficiency, reliability, and features that are important to you. Research different models online, use our car comparison tool, and read reviews to find options that suit your lifestyle, whether you need a commuter vehicle or something for family use.
The best time to buy a car is typically from late summer through the end of the year when dealerships are looking to clear out inventory for new models. Additionally, shopping at the end of the month can also yield better deals as salespeople may be trying to meet quotas.
While there is not a strict limit on mileage, generally, under 100,000 miles is considered acceptable for used cars. However, condition and maintenance history are more important than mileage alone. A well-maintained vehicle with higher mileage can be better than one with lower mileage but poor upkeep.
When buying a car, check the service history and ownership history (one owner is ideal) and ensure it has a clean title with no liens. Get a pre-purchase inspection to spot hidden issues. For new cars, use the MSRP and window sticker to understand pricing and features. Always research the car is history and test drive it before purchasing.
Yes, some dealerships offer leasing options for used cars. However, these leases may not be as common as those for new vehicles. It is essential to check with individual dealerships about their policies on leasing used cars.
To finance a used car, start by determining your budget and obtaining pre-approval from lenders or credit unions. Compare interest rates from different financial institutions and consider your credit score as it will affect your financing options. Once you secure financing, you can proceed with purchasing the vehicle.
Typically, loan rates for used cars are higher than those for new cars due to factors like depreciation and risk associated with older vehicles. However, rates can vary based on your credit score and the lenders policies.
To determine if you can afford car payments, calculate your monthly budget considering income and expenses. Use an online car payment calculator to estimate potential payments based on loan amount, interest rate, and loan term. Ensure that monthly payments fit comfortably within your budget without stretching your finances too thin.
Extended warranties can provide peace of mind by covering unexpected repairs after the manufacturer’s warranty expires. However, whether they are worth it depends on factors like the vehicles reliability record and how long you plan to keep it. Evaluate potential repair costs against warranty premiums before deciding.
Warranties for used cars vary widely depending on factors such as age, mileage, and dealership policies. Many certified pre-owned vehicles come with limited warranties from manufacturers that cover specific components for a set period or mileage.
A bumper-to-bumper warranty covers most parts of the vehicle from defects in materials or workmanship for a specified period or mileage. This typically includes major components like the engine and transmission but may exclude wear-and-tear items such as tires and brake pads.
CPO stands for Certified Pre-Owned. These vehicles have undergone rigorous inspections by manufacturers or dealerships to ensure they meet specific standards. CPO vehicles often come with extended warranties and other benefits compared to regular used cars.
Some of the best websites for finding used cars include Find Used Online, Autotrader, Cars.com, TrueCar, and CarGurus. These platforms allow users to search by make, model, price range, and location while providing valuable resources like vehicle history reports.
To find a good used car, start by researching reliable models from our car listings within your budget. Compare prices and read reviews from other buyers on other platforms. You can also visit local dealerships or private sellers to inspect potential purchases closely.
Some reliable options under $5,000 include older models of Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Ford Fusion, or Mazda3. These vehicles are known for their longevity and lower maintenance costs compared to others in their class. Browse through our used car listings under $5,000. Use the filter for better results.
The return policy for used cars varies by dealership or seller. Some may offer a short return window (e.g., 3-7 days), while others may not allow returns at all. Always check dealership policies before purchasing or discuss with a private seller.
